The NAWE Legislative Committee guides NAWE’s advocacy efforts. Environment, Energy, and Equipment Committee

The NAWE Environment, Energy, and Equipment Committee (E3C) is dedicated to proactively addressing environmental trends and regulatory shifts affecting ports and daily operations within the marine terminal industry. Security Committee

The NAWE Security Committee is dedicated to addressing the multifaceted challenges in the marine terminal industry’s security domain. Additionally, the committee emphasizes the importance of disseminating best practices to empower industry professionals and ensure safety and security while executing their responsibilities within the marine terminal environment.

 

Insurance Committee

The NAWE Insurance Committee plays a pivotal role in navigating the complex landscape of insurance coverage and risk management for Marine Terminal Operators (MTOs), ports, and employees within the industry. With a targeted focus, the committee scrutinizes policies related to health insurance and general healthcare, actively engaging in the analysis of regulatory changes that may impact longshore liability issues. By staying aware of evolving trends and advocating for industry-specific needs, the committee works towards ensuring comprehensive coverage and risk management strategies for MTOs and their workforce.
